Catracom, centrally located in Port of Antwerpen, was established early 1985 and actually counts a very motivated team of 80 persons.
Immediate and accurate 24hrs/24 technical service has always been our vision and motive.
Every commercial succes is a direct spin-off from our swift technical back-up and from the motivation of our technicians driving around in their Flying Toolboxes to hundreds of roro-vessels, port terminals and heavy-industry sites.
Catracom operates from centrally located 32.000m2 headquarters with huge workshops and own engineering department.
Catracom's engineering department designs and manufactures a number of dedicated port & roro equipment.
All engineered products are calculated and supervised by three industrial engineers and are 'CE' classified and tested before delivery :
- complete range of goosenecks (with cast components)
- complete range of semi-automatic 20' & 40' cranespreaders
- coilbooms, special attachments within few days after order
- specially engineered 'carhandlers' to operate in rorovessels
- specially engineered batterytrolleys to operate on cardecks
- limited series of specific rolltrailers
- special fork carriages and masts for heavy-duty FLT operations
- magnet arrangements for slab-handling
