2012 Georgia Logistics Summit

United States, Georgia - February 8, 2012
On February 8th, 2012 the State of Georgia will hold its Fourth Annual Georgia Logistics Summit hosted by the Center of Innovation for Logistics. The Summit is the only state-led collaborative event of its kind and size in the Nation, and grows in attendance every year, hosting 1,300 attendees from 21 states in 2011.

Most importantly, 85% of the participants come from the private sector. The Summit's agenda and activities are carefully and purposefully created with input directly from the logistics industry. The result is a day packed with valuable business information and networking opportunities like no other event. Keynote speakers will address topics including the health of the industry, international maritime trade, and emerging world markets... just to name a few. You can't afford to miss this opportunity to network, learn and join in.

This year, themed as "Sustainable Competitiveness" the 2012 Summit will explore how logistics and logistics-enabled companies can compete and grow by focusing on two important yet contrasting perspectives: What is working? and What is of concern? For the first, companies will share with attendees what they are successfully doing in logistics to sustain their competitive position in the market. The second view provides the flip-side, looking at topics and trends that might jeopardize their competitive position.

Six breakout "Opportunity Sessions" include over 35 speakers from private-industry logistics "users" offering a valuable first-hand logistical perspective on selected growth markets:
