Oman's 7th International Exhibition for Infrastructure and Industrial Projects

Oman, Muscat - 09/10/2017 - 11/10/2017
Oman's 7th International Exhibition for Infrastructure and Industrial Projects Infra Oman - dubbed as one of the largest building and construction expo in the Middle East has been continuously defining the industry's development for the last 6 years. It is considered as the annual meeting place for industry leaders, suppliers and buyers in the Sultanate of Oman. Infra Oman has proved to be an ideal starting point not only for the local companies, but also for foreign entities that are more determined to be part of Oman's growing market.

The 9th five-year development plan (2016-2020) attaches a great importance to construction development by ensuring optimum utilization of resources and investment opportunities in the various governorates in the Sultanate. The private investments shall be in commodities production activities (32.6%), services activities (37%) and 29% in infrastructures. Targeted projects for private sector (on either individual or partnership basis) cover Oman railway, tourism structures within Port Sultan Qaboos, Port Khasab, South Batinah Logistics Area, some fisheries projects, Ad Dhahirah Economic Area and Shinas Port. Historically, the government succeeds in engaging private sector in vital sectors such as power and water. Thus, we expect similar achievements in the current and upcoming plans.

Infra Oman 2017 will be co-located with Electro Oman - Electricity, Energy & Lighting exhibition which is dedicated solely to energy and clearly partitioned to cover all aspects of the sector, including electricity, water, lighting and HVAC, with a special emphasis on sustainable solutions and renewable energies. Participate in Infra Oman and showcase the difference that your company can make to the Sultanate's highly impressive infrastructure development. Book your stand today!
