Who is teaching - Don Buttrey, VP of Butler Learning
Who should attend - Like any other profession, it is important for those in sales to continuously receive training to sharpen skills, keep up with industry changes and better understand customer expectations.
Sales leaders: learn insights on how to reinforce selling skills in sales meetings and coaching.
Front line salespeople: acquire practical knowledge and implement immediately.
Webinars are essentially training sessions that you can participate in online. All you need is a computer, access to the Internet and a telephone. It is very easy to participate in, requires little to no technical skills and is inexpensive compared to traditional classroom training seminars.
How do you participate - You first go online to a website, type in a passcode and the visual portion of the webinar appears. The visual portion is a power point presentation that the speaker controls. You don’t even have the click through!
Secondly, you call into a 1-800 number where you can listen to the presentation via your phone. During the program and afterwards, you can ask the presenter questions via the computer screen or telephone…just like raising your hand in a classroom.
Webinar Ideas - Gather everyone into a conference room, project the internet on a screen, put the phone on speaker, bring in some bagels or pizza (depending on which coast you are on) and sit back and enjoy your webinar experience. After the program is over, you can discuss what you learned and how you plan to implement some or all of the ideas.
