I actually don't know.  I'm pretty new at this and no one around here seems to know anything about it.  How do I figure out whats mounted or the type of controller?

I don't have a picture, but the info that I do have is:

48V (for whatever reason it is not a 24 or 36V)
G.E. EB1 (controller)
Its a ride-on, not stand up

Also, I was told that at some point someone some sort of timer into the electrical system which has caused a problem.  I have no other info on the timer.

That's pretty much all of the information I have on it as its no longer in my office, but in a shop, supposedly "impossible" to fix.

What exactly is the problem? Does the Power Steering not turn-off?

It actually won't operate at all.  I don't know that there's a power steering issue at all so much as it won't run.

I was told that there was a wiring problem, but the only people around who knew how to fix it said the current wiring was not right, but didn't have proper schematics and that those schematics were impossible to get.  Also, there is some sort of timer that has been added to the wiring that has since caused a problem.   At this point, it is not running at all.

What was visible to myself and other workers in the warehouse was that it appeared to overheat and stop functioning, so we called in someone to repair it.

This clearly isn't my area of expertise, but the problems need to be resolved.

John (above) has schematics/diagrams, so those guys couldn't have been telling the truth about being unable to get them.  He has sent me some diagrams so I'm going to compare them to what these other guys were attempting to use and see if that will help solve the problem.

Mod#: NST30

We are having a hard time coming up with a used repair manual anywhere.  Does anyone know where I can get one.

SDTP, the local Clark forklift dealer can/should be able get you a new manual. Parts is a seprerate manual from service/repair, and you really NEED to have the operators manual available too.

We really should start a new thread, not just add to this one to get the attention you would want, since your truck is not a sitdown, which is what this thread is about.

Not only that, but you fail to give anyone the ability to contact you, since you have not included your e-mail address anywhere (like in your profile) that is allowed by this forum's software.

remember guys the GE stuff is pretty generic
go to FSIP dot BIZ to purchase the GE manuals you need
id splurge and get the 2 master technical libraries

you can do a lot with these books as opposed to having 1800 diff manuals for individual machines

cableform im kinda hoping GENjohn could send me that 1 cause i cant find it lol
