The number one cause of this problem is running the battery dead over and over and to continue to use the truck with the dead battery.  If your battery is old and worn out then adjust parameter 13 to properly reflect the actual battery voltage(see service manual).  This will decrement the bdi slower or faster depending on which way you go to better reflect actual battery voltage.  There are 2 relays in the bottom of the card.  Power goes through one to get to the other.  They have small tips on them that can be cleaned up and will buy you some time until it sticks again.  A new battery or keeping it charged may get you good life out of the card after you cleaned the tips.  If you can't get rid of the error or it comes back after a few days you may need a new A5 card.  If you install a new A5 make sure the parameters are setup correctly.  There are tables in the service manual that shows how to set them.

Take the A5 logic card out and remove the cover. There are two small relay's on the main board. Remove plastic cover and clean tips with sandpaper. Truck will now run normally.
