forklift starts fine..runs good but loses throttle response when red exclamation dash light comes "ON" in dash!! i know this is a trouble code but the light stays on only it does not flash to indicate a code number and i don't have the Tier 1 software to diagnose... (strange!) this morning it started fine but with the RED exclamation point light already "ON" on the dash. it also was running high on RPM at idle ( 1200 or so ) then the RPM's went up to about 1500 for a few of seconds. all this time you have no throttle response. then the idle went down to about 850 rpms (all this on it's own) the RED light came off and the throttle response worked. any ideas???

CAT GP25K AC17C serial with the Tier 1 LP gas system.
