Sonny, this forum's software (correctly) removes any properly formed URL or E-mail addresses, to prevent spammers from 'harvesting' good e-mail addresses. You could try requesting answers to schmuckjrs at embarqmail dot com.
You should also know that it is an OSHA -SAFETY- requirement that the operators manuals be available to the operators, and OSHA believes that any safety requirement MUST be met, for the truck to be operational, so as far as an OSHA inspector is concerned, that truck should be deadlined and tagged "out of service" until the manual is acquired.
We also know that the manual, the daily check and seatbelt use are items OSHA is checking for these days, and it seems to me it's not "if" it's "when" they get an inspection.

Proshadetree is correct this is an overheat code and you must reset the code after correcting the problem. There is a manual procedure to clear the code but it is difficult. The code is easily cleared with the laptop and software. If you don't have access to an electronic solution please post a reply and I will look up the manual procedure and send it to you.

Has anyone tried disconnecting positive cable from battery and touching negative cable? Has worked well to clear codes. A electronic "Guru" made mention that thers is a small capacitor in the VSM and this discharges it and causes codes to go away.

Magic time frame on the cable disconnect seems to be 3 hours.

for future info
the "pedal dance" is
- turn on key  wait 3 seconds
- depress and release the pedal 5 times within 5 seconds or less
- after the last release leave it fully released for 7 full seconds
- then depress and hold it for a full 10 seconds (count to 11)
- the display will then begin to flash the hours and whatever codes are present alternately  you are now in the diagnostic mode
- to clear present codes depress the accel pedal for 10 seconds,  the codes will disappear and the hours will only flash on the display
- to exit diagnostic mode turn off key

to do this you need a stopwatch or a good sense of timing (i do it without a stopwatch)
this works on mitsus and platinum series nissans
it also works on my 2003 nissan maxima lol

and please dont ever take off the positive cable without taking the negative off 1st or touch em while 1 is still connected

After 3 years I can pedal dance. You put your left foot in you put your left foot out pull out the laptop and shake it all about.Still find other methods faster than pedal pumping but just in case its a good thing to know. Also if you can do it do it often as you can lose the feel and its a pain to get back.
