so today i was working on a Kalmar walkie. I was not the first tech to work on this. From what I have heard from the customer the truck would run for a few hours and then loose travel. let it cool down and it was good. When I looked at it, it had no travel. It had lift, lower, horn and the emergency bump. The controller was flashing either 2,1 or 1,2. I found the travel pot not engaging in the handle. Even if I turned the handle and manually turn the travel pot no movement. I didn't have my raymond manuals with me but as long as trouble codes on the curtis are universal, I looked them up a bit ago. One code was for the travel pot and the other was for the motor controller. Customer is about 2hours away so I can't just run out and check on it. Any curtis advice would be awesome.

hey
i know on our bt range of machines where we use the curtis 1207, pin 8 is your sweeper wire and it varies from 5v-0,25. what i would suggest is to get machine on to blocks for safety and then play with your potentiometer. first start it from 5v and if no joy then try from a voltage below 0,5v.
