Can anybody tell me if they can fit a 7 tonner in a container. Our new ones have too high overhead guard.  Can't modify o/h guard because of the 1000MM clearance required.  What about old donkeys?

I hate to say this but these type of questions should have all been discussed before you bought the new trucks the salesman that sold you those trucks could have told you all this because when you are buying trucks getting a truck to a special requirement is cheaper when bought new and costs a lot more money to buy a truck then modify it to your specification sorry

en.....according to my experience,it is very difficult for customers to modify the safe guard, even in the factory there will be some problem to do that, the engineer need to design the new one to fit the forklift, excepting they would like to do so,but the cost should be higher for the customization.
Good luck!

Hey Mates I need to  load into a container.  Lowered height must be under or about 2100mm.  It's not a 9foot container. (2743mm)  Help.  I still can't find anything.

hyster s7.0ft is just a shade over 2.3 metre tall and standard upright is 2.6. if you speak to hyster they could do something but it would cost a lot . an approved welding shop could modify an existing ohg but they are few and far between and would need hyster approval

Hello all! This is my first post.

The overhead guard height for HYSTER S7.00FT is exactly 2302 mm with new tires.
