Hi there can anyone please shed some light on this issue.  I have a Toyota/Cesab (same truck badged as Toyota)  It has the double ended Zapi B1 controller.  3 Wheeler.  The problem i am having is that whenever i get to around 70 degree of the lock it should normally drop out 1 set of contactors for 1 motor and continue turning 1 motor in the same direction, however when i go past the point when steering is at 70 degrees it should usualy turn the other motor in the opposite direction, but in my case once i get past the point where the 1 motor should start to reverse, it actually stops working the other motor.  This happens no matter which lock i am in either left or right.  The unit has been replaced/tested the steer pot has also been replaced.  I have used the handset to make adjustments to steer pot settings also makes no difference.  Is there any particular parameters that can be accessed through the handset to tell the truck at what point which contactors should drop out and which ones should come in etc.  Any advise would be appreciated as i can see will be losing sleep and hair over this one.:)

Hello! the pot has 2.5Volts at zero position and reachs 0volts for -90 degrees and 5volts for +90 degrees. In the graphics of the manual appears that one motor stops near 70 degrees (from 66 degrees to 73 degrees) but then starts in the opposite way. Did you try with the wheels on the air? Please do it. Did the controller show any fault?
In the "parameter change" you can find "speed reduction". This parameter reduce the speed when the steer wheel reach 42 degrees and in the "option menu" you can find "prog steer".
Let me know

Three wheeler puts wheels in opposite direction on full lock but 4 wheel turns the inside wheel off.  You can access a secret menu to change between the 2.

Hi there.  Thank you for the information, sorted it.  This apparantly was not the original fault, it just so happened the engineer who was called out to it before me thought the original fault which was cutting out was down to the contactors and when he changed the contactors he mixed up the wiring to the coils and put this fault on the truck.  Rectified this and then found original fault which was battery related.  Thank You for all the help.
