The Software is keyed by the serial number...  the older pcservice tool could log you into either brand, but since the move to pcst3.0 it checks for the Brand.   A valid pcst password will work on either brand of software, though. ;).   The best I can tell about ETACC software,  it will work on either(as of my last training class. about 1 year ago).  I do understand however that ETACC has since been updated and is now supposedly in the ver 4.X releases ?

Nevermind found this in some of my notes
• ETACC AC Control Tools All Products with AC Controls
Program Files – Ver 2.03 Data Files – Ver 7.0
• SEM Gen II & III Smartset Electric Rider Products (Pre AC Controls)
• WINCONSOL Warehouse Class II & III Products with Zapi Controllers
• PC Service Tool - Ver 3.0 Fortis Products
• Emissions ICE 3000# - 15,500# Products (Pre Fortis)
• Auto Shift Transmission Diagnostic H170 – 360 Products Tools- Ver 1.01.44
• Electro-Hydraulic User Interface H170 – 360 Products
• User Interface TE-10 Transmission H170 – 360 Products
Now this is a partial list Im sure and quite old,for 1 manufafctor.Anybody got a pc big enough to hold all programs for all lifts? Will it fit in a semi truck?I may just be stuck with try 9 passwords then clear lockout then 9 more till I find it.55555 isnt it. Have tried 20 to 25 more.Sould have it in a month or 12.Might go back to the torture method it relives stress.
