Hello Cavalinhos
You need to find a reliable experienced adviser to help with this decision. It is not a straight forward choice but an informed opinion based on the working conditions and use. The right choice could be either, or more likely a mixture depending on you individual requirements.

But we need to choose only one type because of the initial costs of the stations.
I need to find some studies or some document that includes the advantages and disadvantages of electric and gas forklifts.
I have until the end of the week to decide.

at this point, there is very little chance that IC trucks will be the correct choice, newer (A/C controllers) electrics will have the lowest long term cost of ownership.
The only way an I/C truck can long term be more cost effective is in larger size units and/or rough terrain or on non-improved surfaces.
you might try "lift-truck-cost-tool dot com" a site Jungheinrich has set up to help make this argument.

You should describe what the new forklifts will be used for.

There will be different types of uses.
The majority of the forklifts are for shipping purposes (load and unload trucks, handling finish goods) and the others are to retrieve or put pallets and reels in production lines.
My company is a pulp and paper compeny. We work with pallets and reels.
And works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How many run time hours per shift is what you have to figure out. A good sales professional can help you with this. Sounds to me like you need to slow down and do it right. A bad mistake could cost you your job.
Just my 2 cents

We have 5 run times per shift. So in 2 shifts each forklift as run time of 10 hours and in 3 shift as 15 hours.

unlikely battery operated trucks will cope with two shifts let alone three unless you have spare batteries for each m/c. then you have the hastle of swapping and ensuring charging between shifts.
Gas is however more expensive running cost wise for fuel.
Big decision, best of luck choosing right option. probably a mixture would be best. -------------------------CHAMPIONS YET AGAIN!!!! (dont cry too much you Scousers, your time will come)

I want that all machines have got 2 batteries if we choose electric forklifts.
But our dillema is about costs because almost all the studies pointed to electrical.

You have not stated what size trucks you are thinking of and if the application is inside or outside.
How expensive is gas in Portugal,
We use Hyundai electrics on 2 shifts of hard use and can manage because they have large batteries.
You really need to discuss this with some sales people who if they are any good and understand the local situation should be able to give a sensible opinion.

The trucks have 2.0, 3.0 and 5.0 ton capacity.

Cavalinhos,
Provide you e-mail address in a disguise form like:
xxxxx at yyyy dot com
I have an excel spread sheet that you might be able to use with some work on your part - ie local cost for equipment, energy cost fro Gas (LPG), electricity (kwH), labor and parts costs. Everything is based on USD adn localized engery cost in Atlanta area - some data is over 2 years old adn we all know what has happened to fuel costs. The template is self calculating - this might be helpful. You'll probably need to work close with your local forklift distributor to get some data aw well - PM service cost frequency, etc.. -------------------------Have An Exceptional Day!

If you check out the Jungheinrich US website they have a great tool available for download for free. You would need to convert it into Kgs though.
