I am trying to identify the load capacity and model of a CLECO  narrow aisle stacker used in a cold store in South Africa, I think it is about 1980 model maybe 1, 1.8 ton.

Thank god for forklifts.

We have a number of these antiques still in our fleet - email me some pictures etc and I'll see what we can do.
If you want we may have some spares, manuals and possibly even complete old trucks available for you to take off our hands and canabalise for parts.
be aware that most of  these trucks don't comply to current safety requirements so can't be put into service. - thats why we are selling them as scrap

Dear Wonderphil,

You could also try FKI Logistex Ltd, which now owns the Cleco brand, if you have not already done so. They can be contacted at Riverside, Market Harborough, Leics, LE16 7PZ. E-mail: [url/email removed]

Young Mr K ! - good to hear from you again.

As to the Cleco's, if anyone has a use for them and I can get more than £90 a ton that I currently get from the scrap man it must be worth the effort!

I have some hard copy info to pass on to our SA friend if you have a fax number?

cheers

I am interested in Spares (new or second hand) for Cleco VNA trucks. Do you still have these trucks if not do you know of anyone else who may have them?
