Hi Jim, do a Google search for Transmon Engineering, they have a product that works the same as the Toyota speed limiter.  With a flybywire throttle and dif speed sensor. Don't know if it will go down to 3 mph.........thats pretty slow!

Thanks Dave. I was able to find a company in the us that has a unit similar to what you described along with a few other interesting products. The problem i've discovered is that less than 5mph you can overheat the transmission because the convertor is not in lockup. If you want to check out there site it's loadingzonesafety.com. Cheers!Jim

There is a product on the market that may suit your needs, its a speed control system that allows different speed zones in different areas, eg. 4mph inside and 10mph outside  it is controlled via RFID or GPS whilst not effecting the lifting performance of the truck, performance of the truck may also be monitered via internet if required, if interested please contact via email at [url/email removed]

Jim, what is the maximum speed the machine will reach on tick over?  You may find that your custoemr request is just not possible.

You've found the right site from SSC (loadingzonesafety.com) as they have a hell of a lot of knowledge, so I would suggest calling them and asking their opinion.  If Corky is available then try to speak to him.
