Just the Lindos parts would do as here at my firm even ordering parts is a nightmare as unless you can explain to the storeman exactly what you want he will probably order the wrong thing time and time again which is a pain.

most software is password protected and you have to be a dealer to get it.some of the old stuff you can just install but cabels can cost as much as 500 dollars for a serial and a filter.

I have got Jungheinrich Jeti program which I got from auto cd and it works fine, takes a long time to install mind. its got all parts diagrams and p/no info, you just have to put in s/no and up comes the build sheet. It also has all Boss info and fault finding info.

Drlifttruck - I agree with proshadetree. Our dealers (Linde, Jungheinrich, Hyster) won't help because won't to loose customers/end users even users are not satisfied with dealers. Dealers will only sell parts and perform works.

In order to use Linde software you first must install Linde AC which then creates a special serial # to identify the computer that it was installed in. You must then print out the form with the special serial #, fax it to Linde and they assign a release code that will permit the software to work. Even if you were to get someone to do this for you, all of the software has an unknown expiration date- typically about 6 months from date of purchase. I think that dealers are gang of cheaters, they're coming , diagnosis and tlk to you, that you have to buy new parts and you have to buy it by him, because only original parts are good . We all know that's a bullshit.

I dont think all are cheats.Some have way I dont like, include my own.I have a opinion that if cust dont want me there Im more than happy to go and let whoever he wants fix his trucks.But if he dont want you there Ill be more than happy to give the service that I give to keep his trucks up and cost down.If its not what he wants then he can go to next.Software stops this now you have to go to brand x to get your truck fixed.A lot of people on this board state thats not so.Here it is Ive lost very few customers in my time and hope they found what I couldnt give.The one thing I freely give is choice.Used to be they had that but now its getting to decide which prison you go to because your locked in when you go."Work leads to profit, mere talk leads to poverty"
