Description: Miretti Americas is part of the Miretti Group, which is headquartered in Milan Italy. We are the market leader in the manufacturing and conversion of explosion protection of mobile vehicles, diesel engine powered oil and gas. We have been established in the market place since 1904 and have an extensive global footprint.
In this role you will be responsible for the sale and rental of EX explosion proof trucks and for sales of explosion proof conversions of industrial trucks, access equipment, tractors, cleaning equipment and similar mobile vehicles. The role requires you to manage the current MA customer base particularly the replacement of previously supplied trucks and market the advantages of the advantage of the conversion technology in order to promote the sale and rental
Based in our Fairfield N.J. offices you will be expected to travel introducing our products and services to USA truck OEM’s, dealers, end user customers. You will need to research the market and be able to identify, train and support a range of MA dealers sanctioned by the MA Sales and Marketing Director. You will work closely with the MA Management team in all matters of the sales, production, payment, delivery and after sales support processes and develop strong relationships with all involved in the supply chain. This role will include for clear and agreed targets for market development, sales turnover, profitability and market share.
Job Duties:
1. Reporting to the MA Sales and Marketing Director you will be required to make regular visits to all regions in the USA serving current customers, developing prospects, providing guidance on the use of EX equipment, training sales teams, making quotations, sales forecasting and closing sales.
2. Responsible for analysing the MA data base of past customers, providing proposals for truck replacements, developing the data base to include for prospect customers who currently use our competitors trucks and industries and identifying customers who would benefit from the use of EX trucks and services.
3. Responsible for identifying, appointing (with the agreement of the MA Sales and Marketing Director) and supporting new and existing MA distributors to maximise the sale of MA products, systems and services.
4. Responsible for investigating competitors, their products and services and producing data for ‘Why Miretti’ to enable customers to understand the many benefits of Miretti OEM conversions.  
5. Responsible for ensuring that customers receive the necessary after sales service through a close working relationship with the MA After Sales Manager to develop the after sales service revenue business.
6. Responsible for achieving short, medium and long term sales and profitability targets as set and agreed by the MA Sales and Marketing Director.


Requirements / Skills: Background/Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales, ideally within the material handling, engine or mobile equipment sectors. Experience in previous sales roles including serving key accounts and industry sectors. You will need to develop a strong understanding of the technology and be able to communicate it with the end user.
Skills, Knowledge, Education:
An Engineering or Technical qualification would be an important plus. Ideally you would also have experience in ‘business to business’ selling. You will need to be a Team player and network builder able to work effectively with all levels of organisations both internally and externally. You must be fully computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office or similar
