New technology makes dimensioning and weighing (D&W) of palletised cargo possible directly from the forklift truck. INS TC5000 offers great flexibility and optimises revenue and workflows in freight terminals.

Optimised logistic

A new innovation, the INS TC5000 system from Intersoft Nexø A/S, makes it possible to optimise processes directly from forklift trucks in freight terminals. Cargo handling, capturing of dimensions, weight and barcodes - and even data transfer to ERP systems - can be performed on the forklift in one single operation. In other words, four operations are combined into one in a mobile solution offering full cargo data capture anywhere, anytime, independent of existing freight terminal facilities.

Flexibility & scalability

The flexibility of the INS TC5000 system makes it beneficial to almost any company without prior restructuring of the freight terminal. The system can be used in combination with stationary D&W solutions and reduces forklift  bottlenecks around a centralised system. In addition, the TC5000 is a scalable solution and  the number of systems as well as the investment can be increased as the business grows.

Designed for cargo business

INS TC5000 is developed for freight terminals in close co-operation with the transport sector. The system is based on our patented hydraulic weighing technology and dimensioning technology, offering unique properties in extreme, hazardous environments.

Well-accepted system

Today, INS TC5000 is used by leading cargo companies and warmly welcomed by forklift drivers and business management as well.

Why estimate when facts count?

In general, implementation of automatic D&W has shown increased revenue in the range from 5% to 20% due to optimised invoicing, resulting in a clear view of the profitability of customers and routes.

Improving personnel safety & environment

One disadvantage of centralised D&W capture is increased forklift traffic. INS TC5000 minimises forklift driving time, energy consumption and collision
risks with personnel.

TC5000 highlights
  • Manage dimensioning and weighing of palletised goods directly from the forklift during cargo handling.
  • No restructuring of the freight terminal.
  • Reduced forklift bottlenecks.
  • No time or energy used by driving to and from a stationary D&W system.
  • Reduced forklift traffic and risks of collisions with personnel and less damages of goods.

Economy risks & safety

As a manager focused on optimisation, risk management and environmental demands, would you ignore a system that offers increased profit, flexibility and reliability?

Mobile weighing with INS TC3000 & INS TC2000

The mobile weighing systems are based on advanced and robust hydraulic weighing principles which don't impact on the forklift's capacity.

Intersoft Nexø A/S has since 1997 developed high-tech mobile weighing solutions and lifted the weighing accuracy to a level only previously obtained by load cell-based systems, while maintaining the superior robustness and reliability characterised by the maintenance-free hydraulics.

The INS TC3000 is the most accurate hydraulic weighing system ever seen. Weighing results are not affected by mast inclination nor by irregular floor surfaces.

For example, TC3000 is used in the recycling industry, where combustion recipes must be followed and in cheese production as a tool for quality checks.

It all began with the INS TC2000, which maintains a strong market position. It is weighing around the entire globe in many applications.
