Agricultural equipment specialist Hall Engineering Ltd has been appointed a supplier of Italian branded Dieci telehandlers by UK importer Dieci Telehandlers Ltd.
Hall will provide Dieci telehandlers and technical support in the UK. It will also help Dieci boost its telehandler sales in the UK farming market.
Working closely with Dieci Telehandlers, Hall will adapt and manufacture attachments and one-off products to fit a wide range of Dieci machines on sale in the country.
Hall managing director Damon Hall says his company has worked with its dealer network to supply brackets, buckets and grabs to fit Dieci telehandlers for a long time. "However, the new agreement means that we are the preferred supplier to Dieci's sole UK importers."
Hall explains: "Our engineering support will provide buyers of Dieci telehandlers the facility to use their existing attachments on their new machines. We are also manufacturing one-off products required for specialist applications using the Dieci range.
"Dieci manufacture some very impressive machines. They were a pioneer of telescopic handling equipment in Europe and now sell extensively on the continent. They aim to make a real impact with farmers in this country," he adds.
According to Hall, the new agreement has already resulted in an influx of work into the company's Station Street base in Leek.
Hall Engineering was founded in 2008 in the Staffordshire Moorlands and currently employs nine people. Early this year, Hall moved to Station Works in Leek in a GBP500,000 (USD790,000) investment. The company designs and manufactures its own agricultural equipment. Its 2010 turnover was about GBP650,000 (USD1,027,000).
