Mining equipment manufacturer Bradken has renewed a supply agreement with forklift dealer Komatsu Forklift Australia (KFA) to provide it with fully maintained forklifts and associated equipment.
Bradken Resources supply contracts manager Terry Sinclair says KFA helps identify materials handling equipment that best fits the company's specific applications.
"As a leading heavy engineering company, Bradken can manufacture fully machined cast iron and steel products from a mass of 1 kg to more than 25 T. Efficient and safe handling of these products means forklift applications at Bradken sites are varied and, in some cases, quite demanding."
The company has 128 Komatsu forklifts in its fleet.
"Komatsu Forklift provides the equipment, specialist knowledge and planning assistance for us to comply with our legal obligations and achieve our safety and environmental goals."
