MARENGO, Ill. - December 2011 - Nissan Forklift Corporation has added the APX Series to its line of pallet trucks. The APX Advanced AC-Powered Walkie Pallet Truck offers superior maneuverability. The
APX pallet truck, rated at 4,000 pounds capacity, is ideal for manufacturing, grocery and general warehouse operations. Its compact design, featuring a short truck length and narrow width, makes the APX easy to maneuver in small warehouses or tight settings.
Its unique off-set tiller arm allows the operator to be more efficient and safe by walking beside the truck, offering better fork tip visibility. The exclusive stability design, featuring a robust chassis with rugged steel skirt riding on four continuous contact points, reduces load sway during faster travel, around corners and on uneven floors.
Smart electronics paired with the brushless AC drive motor make the APX a low-maintenance option for warehouse applications. At start-up, the APX runs a self-check and alerts the operator of any error codes. The on-board diagnostics system provides easy troubleshooting and eliminates the need for a separate diagnostic handset. The brushless AC drive motor keeps operating costs low with fewer wear components and a simple control harness design.
"Nissan Forklift is committed to providing lasting reliability, increased productivity and excellent overall value to its customers," said Steve Cianci, director of marketing and product management at Nissan Forklift. "Our proven fork design, unique offset tiller arm, and exclusive four-point contact stability feature, are just a few of the ways that our APX pallet trucks can provide that value."
