Jungheinrich launches new trucks
Hamburg, GermanyJungheinrich is launching the EFG 425-430 electric counterbalance forklifts and a new forklift with hydrostatic drive in the northern spring.
The two new 3 T capacity electric counterbalance trucks have three-phase AC technology and "a high operating ratio at constantly low energy consumption".
The VFG 540s-550s hydrostatic forklift's engine meets Stage IIIB emission legislation that comes into force in 2013. It can carry up to 5 T at a 600 mm (2 ft.) load centre. The truck completes Jungheinrich's hydrostatic truck range that was launched in 2008.
Hyster introduces J4.0-5.0XN forklift
Fleet, United KingdomHyster Europe has introduced the J4.0-5.0XN electric counterbalance forklift to meet growing demand for tough electric forklifts.
The forklift is designed for demanding applications for metal fabricators, timber processors and handlers, beverage and bottling companies, breweries, paper manufacturers, pulp processors and automotive manufacturers.
According to Hyster, electric forklifts now account for about 20% of the 4-5 T segment of the counterbalance market.
Nissan Forklift expands heavy range
Amsterdam, the NetherlandsNissan Forklift Europe has added the ZX Series to its range of heavy forklifts.
The 6-8 T capacity series expands the range and replaces the FX5 Series, which was available in 5-7 T capacities. The 5 T variant is available from the GX Series range.
Nissan Forklift claims the forklift has one of the most durable and powerful diesel engines in its class. The workhorse can move loads up to 8 T at a lift height of 8 m (24 ft.).
