Independent forklift supplier Fork Force Australia has signed a five-year agreement to become the official national importer and distributor for Zowell forklifts, made in China by the Suzhou Pioneer Material Handling Equipment & Technology Company.
Managing director Steve Cunliffe tells
Forkliftaction.com News that the new deal allows the company to expand the range of electric stackers and pallet trucks it had been supplying in Australia under the Enforcer brand for the past two years.
He says the deal gives Australian customers better access to a wider range of pedestrian forklifts including walkie straddle stackers (1-2 T capacities), walkie reach stackers (1-2 T capacities), powered pallet trucks (1-2.5 T capacities) and counterbalance stackers (1-1.5 T capacities).
"After great success with the Enforcer range, we decided it was the ideal time to form a long-term partnership with the manufacturer."
According to Cunliffe, compared to the current market leaders Crown and Toyota/BT, "Zowell is up to 20% lower in cost and the quality, reliability and performance are all excellent".
"I've been convinced enough to sign up for five years and offer a three-year parts and labour warranty on their range."
Fork Force is now seeking forklift dealers around Australia for the sales and service of Zowell products.
The deal follows the company's acquisition of forklift hire companies Munquip of Brisbane and Munlift of Toowoomba earlier this month (
