Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer forklift attachments are now distributed by a single organisation in Spain.
The decision to join forces in Spain puts the market in line with the UK, Australia, Sweden, Russia, Turkey and the Far East, which already utilise that marketing strategy.
Bolzoni group sales and marketing director Carlo Fallarini tells
Forkliftaction.com News that merging the two brands into one organisation will provide "a stronger product support structure and a better sales coverage" of the Spanish territory.
"The product offering now includes the best products from both ranges, better responding to customer needs in terms of quality, performance and competitiveness."
Attachments from the Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer catalogues will be marketed and sold by the 12 employees at Bolzoni Auramo SL's new facility in Montcada I Reixac in Barcelona.
Company director Antonio Sanchez says existing customers can continue working with the same team that has been serving them. "Both brands have a large number of customers who have remained loyal to the product because of its quality, service and the back-up we provide."

"The possibility of selling all the Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer attachments is a salesman's dream. Now we have the best and widest range of products that any attachment manufacturer can offer the market and we are leaders in technology and quality in each product line," he adds.
The after-sales service of the Spanish organisation will continue to provide support for both Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer attachments. After-sales will also offer technical assistance both in-house and across the country.
The sales team offers attachment demonstrations, meetings and attachment technical training addressed to forklift sales teams, customers and end-users.
Fallarini says there are currently "no specific projects" for the two brands to join forces in other markets but "we could take a similar decision [depending on] specific local conditions".
Bolzoni acquired Spanish firm Elman in 1991, to manufacture and sell forklift accessories to the Spanish market. When Bolzoni acquired Finnish group Auramo in 2001, Bolzoni Auramo SL was established to expand the range of quality attachments offered in Spain.
