Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer have added France to the list of European countries in which they have consolidated. The product ranges of both brands are now distributed in France by new company Bolzoni Sarl.
Spokeswoman Paola Baldini says the merger does not affect the employees of Bolzoni Auramo Sarl in Forbach and Meyer Sarl in Nozay. "We have only reorganised the sales representation area and the [roles] of different people. Our objective is clear: to be a leader in the French market for attachments, lifting tables and forks."
The increased range of products - forklift attachments, lift tables and forks - will enable the group to respond better to market demand.
Bolzoni Sarl is headed by managing director Raphaël Linet, a former director of Bolzoni Auramo Sarl.
The company employs 19 people and there are no plans to add to the team. Baldini says the team is "complete and professional" and "probably the biggest one in the French attachment market".
She is tight-lipped on the group's plans for further mergers in the European market.
