CEMAT now represents Meyer and Bolzoni Auramo products.
After consolidating in Western Europe, Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer have joined forces in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

From March 2015, CEMAT, the Bolzoni Auramo forklift attachment dealer in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, will also represent Meyer products.

CEMAT, based in Bohumin, Czech Republic and Martin, Slovakia, has a workshop for after- sales, repairs, on-site installations and product modifications. It also has a European equipment rental fleet for long- and short-term rentals.

Tereza Hlavácová, marketing manager at CEMAT, tells Forkliftaction.com News that its customers can now expect "a complete range of high quality products and additional services for forklift attachments in the field".

"[Customers will receive] the best products from both ranges from one single distributor. CEMAT will also take care of the Meyer customers who bought Meyer products in the past, including after-sales service and spare parts."

The CEMAT team includes 12 sales staff and 16 service technicians, some of whom are attachment specialists.

"All of them are ready and trained to give adequate support to all customers. Other additional company structure changes might occur depending on actual market needs," Hlavácová says.

Bolzoni Auramo spokeswoman Paola Baldini says that there are currently "no other plans" to consolidate in Europe. Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer have joined forces in Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria over the past three years.

The most recent merger between Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer took place in Portugal last year (Forkliftaction.com News #676). Baldini says the Portuguese market has responded positively to the merger. "Customers from both brands have appreciated the new organisation and the new product offer and they are rewarding us with important contracts and orders."

CEMAT, established in 1994, distributes accessories for materials handling and construction equipment in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Its product portfolio includes forklift attachments, forks, lifting tables and other materials handling or construction equipment. The firm's warehouses are located in Bohumín, Prague, Lovosice, Martin and Trnava. In 2013, CEMAT expanded its warehousing capacity and administration office space in Bohumín, North Moravia, Czech Republic.
