Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) has once again taken the lead in selling forklifts in Australia, with around 30% marketshare.

Official figures from the Australian Industrial Truck Association (AITA) indicate that the company sold over 3,700 forklifts in the year ending December 2010.

It also maintained its number one position in the Australian internal combustion counterbalance forklift market, commanding over 36% share nationally.

TMHA has now led the Australian internal combustion counterbalance forklift market consecutively for 24 years.

The company also led the three- and four-wheel battery electric forklift segments, claiming market leadership in both these categories.
