US forklift robot manufacturer Seegrid Corp's CEO, Scott Friedman, has led a delegation to Heli's Anhui headquarters. The purpose of the visit is to enhance co-operation between the two companies.
The US visitors viewed the production sites for Heli's heavy vehicle, transmission and axle and electric vehicle divisions.
After the visit, Heli's deputy chief engineer, Zhou Qiqi, presented on Heli's main products and gave a company overview. Finally, Friedman informed his hosts about the state of Seegrid's development plans and robot forklift technology, and expressed his interest in a co-operating with the leading Chinese forklift manufacturer.
Separately, Heli's forklift attachment department has received an order for a mast with an eight-metre (26-foot) lifting height.
According to Heli, no domestic forklift manufacturer in China has produced a mast with that lifting height. The company says its research personnel successfully completed the forklift mast design and assembly, and passed stability test requirements for one to 10 tonne capacity forklifts.
