Largest Rotating Roll Clamp ever manufactured by KAUP delivered to Egypt

Another outstanding highlight for KAUP, the Aschaffenburg, Germany based manufacturer of forklift truck attachments was the recent delivery of a Rotating Paper Roll Clamp due to its extraordinary dimensions. This Rotating Roll Clamp, to be operated on a 25 ton forklift at an Egyptian Paper Mill, can pick up rolls of tissue paper with a diameter of 3 meters and a weight of up to 6 tons. The opening distance between its contact pads measures more than 4 metres. In order to optimise friction, contact pads are lined with Secutex. |

Omega Lift MultiLoaders in Mississippi

Near the end of 2004, Omega Lift Manufacturing Inc. put three 4D MultiLoaders into service at a well-known boilermaker in the state of Mississippi. These trucks are based on the 14,000 lbs. 4DML series and feature spreader bars, which allow for 184” of fork spread. They are also equipped with full cabs that include heating and air conditioning units.

Lift truck attachment manufacturer Bolzoni Auramo has developed a new paper roll clamp series AR.
The new clamps have a completely updated mechanical and hydraulic structure. They offer more clamping force with the same basic capacity. More alternative capacity ranges are available as well.
At the moment the new series is available in five capacity classes, lifting capacities ranging from 1750 kg to 4600 kg, depending on the roll range and chosen clamp size. Standard roll diameter ranges are up to 1830 mm. Dedicated models for single roll handling and 1 – 2 roll handling are also available.

The Omega Lift MultiLoader series 4DML (4DML) was exhibited at Promat 2005, Chicago, at the company’s booth in January.
Of the two exhibited units, one featured a GM LPG engine version and a duplex mast, while the other truck was equipped with a Perkins 800 series diesel engine, a triplex mast and a 138” wide spreader-bar with outside folding forks. The 100 Ah Tubular-HPÔ product is the same height as a typical 85 Ah flooded flat-plate product; the 140 Ah Tubular-HPÔ product is the same height as a typical 125 Ah flooded flat-plate product. This means you can now achieve more power, using tubular technology, in the same size compartment that was previously occupied by a flooded flat-plate battery.
