Hendershot Equipment Company, a premier equipment dealership with locations in Stephenville and Decatur, Texas, has added a new, JCB-dedicated division, Hendershot JCB, to its operations. Toyota Material Handling Northern California (TMHNC) will expand into new premises in Livermore, California after outgrowing its facilities in Hayward. Senior vice president Mark Andres tells Forkliftaction News the new facility covers 64,000 sq ft. (5,945 sqm) on a 4 ac. Los Angeles port operators are considering the use of hydrogen-powered vehicles to address environmental concerns. United Rentals, Inc. and NES Rentals Holdings II, Inc. have entered into a definitive agreement under which United Rentals will acquire NES for approximately USD965 million in cash. Hyster Company has introduced two weighing systems that can be fitted to Hyster reachstackers and laden container handlers to obtain a Verified Gross Mass (VGM), as required by the recently introduced SOLAS Legislation.
