As many in business stake their future on spending growth in Asia, a new report from the Asian Development Bank predicts that the region will continue its momentum for the next couple of years. The Asian Development Outlook 2012 expects continued growth in developing Asia, but warns of the dampening impact of further oil supply disruptions and price spikes. The report sees uncertainty surrounding the resolution of sovereign debt problems in the eurozone as the greatest risk to the outlook. So, we’re all looking to Asia, but keeping an eagle eye on Europe!

"Electricians and elevator techs are unionized. I remember trying to get auto techs together long ago. No union in that industry either. We are lower on the totum pole and cannot even claim any tools on our income tax ... as the electricians and even musicians can! Without any union, there can be no brotherhood since we don't pay dues and are not organised. This Forum is as close as it gets to a brotherhood.".
